I’ve painted quite a lot of flowers over the years, but I’m not sure I like painting them. It’s just that they’re available . I’m almost always disappointed with the results. However for lack of anything else I painted flowers today……..

Before I started painting I spent some time looking at photos of women over 70 and how to properly apply eye make up. Only watched half the make up video as I got bored.

I also checked out women artists over 70. Looking for role models.

I thought about sitting out in the garden and reading a book as it was sunny, but only lasted about 3 minutes.

Will need to be up early to go to Edinburgh tomorrow.  I’m hoping that I’ll feel reassured and more relaxed when I get home.
