I couldn’t exactly remember how it worked , but luckily I pressed start on the remote control and away it went. I had to find another curtain to block the gap in the door where the hose goes outside as I couldn’t find the one I used last year. It didn’t take long and then it kept me cool while cooking lunch for 6 days. (Saves having the cooker add to the heat. )

Later I continued with one of the portraits I’m working on.
I used the neocolours first , but am used to working on a black background so they seemed a bit wishy washy.

My round canvases arrived today. That’s very quick for Pisticci. .
After lunch I carried on painting with acrylics, mostly working on the faces. The photograph has very little detail.

It’s at the ” why did I bother stage” with just a touch of hope that I might actually make it lovely.
Now it’s Friday wine time.
