It’s nice to sit down tonight with 2 paintings finished and 2 at 80%. Considering that I must have spent about six hours of this week on trying to sort out  my banking app and electric bill then that’s not bad.

I really wanted the two commissions finished so that I could concentrate on painting for the exhibition.

So next week needn’t ( hopefully) be so fraught.

However what a lot I’ve learned this week. Even if it wasn’t planned.

I went up town this morning and collected half of my big canvases.

Then most of the rest of today I’ve worked on the big painting of the view from the veranda in my old house in the country. I have 2 very small versions of this.

Now I’m looking forward to a quiet evening with a glass of wine and maybe something on Netflix to watch.
