Actually it’s not awful. If I had to sit outside or work outside in this heat that would not be good. But I walked up to the piazza to collect a parcel from the courier about 10am and as long as I kept in the shadows it was okay.

Most of today I’ve painted again as I’ve pretty much decided that I’ll paint my floor on Saturday.

About 5.30pm I thought that I’d go up town and either get wine or collect my other 5 canvases depending on which shop was open. The art shop was closed so I came home with 5 litres of wine from the butcher’s. (Incase anyone is interested that cost me €10) It’s very similar to the wine I like in Scotland which costs an average £7 a bottle.

The wind is warm. I tried sitting outside to write this, but came inside when the ants and flies arrived.

I think that next week, if possible I’ll paint something new. It’s been good to paint subjects from the past, but that’s enough now.
No sign of my paper electric bill yet………..
Cheers 🍷🍷
