I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to do very much today. On the other hand having nothing to do by myself is no fun. I’m not a very meditative sort of person. I like to do things and preferably finish them.
I brushed all the leaves and sand from behind my bins and put it in the indifferenziata bag. ( I saw my neat and tidy neighbour doing hers so I waited till she’d gone in and rushed out with a brush and shovel. It took about 3 minutes. ) Now I feel very smart and tidy and prim.
Then I sorted the cistern which wouldn’t stop running. I stood on a chair, telling myself that it was hardly rocket science and looked into it. It only took a minute or two to realise that I’d been fiddling about with the wrong bit , and when I fiddled with the right bit the water stopped running immediately. I expect there are names for these bits, but not being a plumber I don’t know what they are. And probably no plumbers are reading this. I think using technical words is very exclusive unless you are in the same club. ( I have a ” thing ” about this.)
Oh, I forgot! I had strawberries for breakfast.

I wrote some notes to go with my exhibition paintings…..but I’ll maybe do it properly tomorrow.
Then I saw my work diary looking at me. I haven’t put anything in it this year. Mainly as I was in Scotland.
It has taken me about three hours to print out photos for the last 6 months, mainly due to my phone refusing to email them. I even tried to do it from my laptop, but the photos kept disappearing.
Now I have the photos printed, but am too fed up to stick them in and write notes …and I want to do it well. A nice job for tomorrow.
I am drinking wine from the supermarket as I thought it wouldn’t matter. It does. I am used to liking the taste of my favourite wine which the butcher sells. It’s local. This is yeugh!!
Another thing I did today was to use two bricks to stop Fluffy sneaking in. It’s easier to show a photo than explain …….

She’s definitely had kittens.
Sunday blog time now, unless they are all on holiday.
Cheers🍷
