After being pleased with myself for ” fixing ” the cistern yesterday, when I got it mostly working ,and if I fiddled with the right bit the water stopped running I was lulled into a false sense of security. This morning after having been working okay it suddenly  gave up and water poured down the back of the toilet without stopping. Nothing I did helped. So I turned off the water.

I’ve since contacted a plumber and asked chat gpt. I think there is a problem with a” flapper”. Unfortunately my toilet has a high up cistern and doesn’t seem to contain the same things as a normal lower one so chat gpt wasn’t as helpful as it might have been.

But enough of that .

This morning I caught up 6 months in my work diary.

After that I thought that I might as well try and fix one of my self portraits. I think it’s better now……

The exhibition organiser comes tomorrow.  I wonder what will happen.
