Thanks to the courier who didn’t know where I lived…… so he arranged to meet me in Piazza Solferini. ( However he said that next time he knows how to get closer to my house. Hurray!)

It wasn’t  really very far to go and as I was only in Dirupo I kept on my painting dress. It was like going out in dressing up clothes.

As long as I kept to the shadow side of the street it was not too hot.

Today I mostly worked on the second portrait painting  with 2 people. The faces are quite small as it’s only a 30x40cm canvas and it was necessary to paint whole figures. I’m pleased with myself when I can get a likeness at that size.

I’ve now got both paintings to about 75% done.

I think I need to  tidy out the dresser and the bathroom cupboard this weekend so I might finish them on Monday or Tuesday.

I really need to phone the plumber tonight. I don’t like phoning people and speaking Italian. But it’s ridiculous running outside and turning the water off and on again all day.

So must do it.

Now it’s Friday and wine time.
