I had forgotten how nice it was to be out and interested.  I’ve been letting the heat get to me and feeling I should stay in. However this morning I needed paracetamols and I was fed up staying home.

So I set off keeping to the shadow side of the street.

First I saw this not far from my house. Somebody was getting married and must be from this house.

On the way up the hill I saw that they’ve  started to put up the lights for the feste next month. One man was busy screwing the lights on to the frames. There must be thousands of bulbs.

After buying paracetamols I thought that it would be nice to go for a coffee.

On the way back I saw the florist decorating the church for the wedding. It was busy in the piazza.

The corsa was busy as usual , especially as cars were being diverted while the feste lights were being hung.( there is supposed to be a video here but it must’ve been to big to upload and I can’t work out how to delete the wotsit.)

It’s been quite a relaxing day, though I did tidy out the shower room cupboard and throw out all the ” past its  sell by date food.” (That sounds like I keep food in the shower room……I don’t. It was in the dresser.)

I did phone the plumber last night , but got a weird message. Will try again on Monday.

Now it’s wine time and maybe something on Netflix.

Last night I watched all of La Palma and then couldn’t sleep.
