There is a poster advertising the exhibition. Now it seems real.

In the meantime I’m busy trying to cover my empty walls.
This morning while speaking on the phone and fiddling with paintings I saw a small painting I’d done from a photo of a scene at the living Nativity in December . That’s how inspiration seems to strike. When I’m doing something else .
I found the original photo and got started.
I’m not sure if anyone is interested, but the composition changed a lot from the first version.

I drew and then redrew and deleted things ,all done with my neocolours. ( I’ve ordered another box of 40……)
Then eventually when I added the lemons and the leeks for no particular reason, suddenly I liked it. After that some of it was painted over and some of it was only brushed with a wet brush and left as I like the effect. I think it’s about 80% done now.
I’m quite pleased with myself as it looks much better than I thought it would. I’m so enjoying making things up . I didn’t even attempt to make it look like the lady in the photo.
It’s been quite an exciting day. ( not counting having spinach and eggs for breakfast …Nice !! )
It’s also been cooler. I’ve not got the aircon on tonight.
Wine time now.
Cheers🍷🍷
