It’s been a very relaxing day.

This morning I went out to the retail park and bought a bundle of cheap paintbrushes. They were mostly small sizes  as I tend to ruin the thin ones regularly. Especially in the summer as paint dries so quickly on them.

I also bought 3 lovely red leather covered notebooks for no other reason than that they were pretty. They were made in Italy. ( just out of curiosity I googled them and found them on Amazon for £34.95, I paid £6.99 and felt like I was being extravagant.) I find notebooks and sketchbooks hard to resist.

Since being out this morning I’ve done very little apart from lie about and watch antiquey programmes on TV.

Oh, and I charged up my wine drowned laptop which must have dried out and is amazingly working again.

I’m going to take it back with me as it fits in my rucksack. I can have a laptop and a red notebook in every room in my house. What luxury!

(I think my spare old laptop which is permanently  attached to the evil printer is   wearing out so a replacement might be good.)

It seems to have been heavy rain in Pisticci.  ( that should keep my flowers alive.)
