It all started with buying a new rug.

It arrived today. It absolutely  did not go with my ” more pink than terracotta ” floor or my red cooker.

So, not being able to bear clashing things, I set to work to fix everything .

Now I have a lovely brick floor and a beige cooker. ( I was getting tired of having a red cooker. )

I’ll need to buy some more paint as I used my acrylic paint and some gesso. I’ll varnish everything tomorrow and it should all be fine.

It’s my little brother’s 60th birthday today. So now all 5 of us are over 60. That feels good.

Now I need a rest and a glass of wine. Been a very satisfactory  day.
