2025 in Pisticci… a day in photos….

6.30 am, watering flowers.

I thought this was a weed, but apparently it’s good in salads. It tastes like lettuce. I didn’t plant it.
Cute….a black and a white cat. The black one is almost friendly.
Breakfast. I always bring half of my pizza home.
Liked this photo I took last night on way to pizzeria.

I went to another supermarket today  to get ….basically peanut butter and low calorie cheese slices.( though I also bought some other heavy stuff.) It was a bit steep on the way back , but worth it for the photos.

I think it must be nice to live here.
Some of the uphill.
I like doors…and sunlight
Another door…
Just liked this…
More sunlight
Fake birds in the cage.
Peppers drying with the washing.
Very impressive door.

When I reached the last door I got a phone call from the courier asking to meet me in the piazza San rocco.  Luckily I was only two minutes away.

I sat on a step at the church and waited for about 15 minutes.  It was a pleasure to watch everyone going about their business in the sunshine.

Who needs weights!  Or the gym!

This afternoon after staring at olive trees for ages on my laptop I had a welcome interruption which made me more determined  to visit Verona.  (I thought that was the children’s book about Verona in the box from the courier, but it was hairdye.)

Tomorrow I’m planning on painting all day. It was supposed to rain all day, but now it looks like it won’t. Shouldn’t really be annoyed about that!

Wine time now.

Cheers🍷🍷
