It’s not my normal way of painting an olive tree. Usually I am a little impressionist and it works just fine.

However I’m sure I’m learning something by trying something new.

I worked on the painting almost all day, with the odd break to watch a video on painting olive trees……….

It is being a very good thing that I decided to paint a practice version of this mural.

Other than that I had a lovely visit from a friend.

Now I’m enjoying sitting here, feeling cool and glad it’s the weekend.
