2025 in Pisticci….more olive tree painting….

I’m sitting here grinning like a Cheshire cat because after being very proactive for me and organising a time to be picked up to go mural painting tomorrow it’s just been put back to Wednesday.

Hurray! Another day to swot up on painting olive leaves. In fact I’ve just thought of another big painting I can do  which would be useful.

I’m so happy!!

It’s not that I’m not ready.

Paint, brushes, references, floor covering, boxes to keep paint wet and water-soluble wax crayons incase pencil is not enough to draw with. And 2 paintings for inspiration.
Packed. Paint is heavy.

Since then I am closer to finishing the olive tree painting. It was good to experiment with different ways of painting the leaves. I even got a little desperate and asked chatgpt. I’m better than chatgpt.  That was cheering….

About 80% done with this. Now I have time to finish it.

Before I got organised today I went out shopping and found that my new supermarket was closed for a holiday. So I found a small shop next to a bar, which I hadn’t been in for years. ( I painted the owner’s daughter…I think.) I’m really enjoying this new shopping regime.

It’s great being in town so much more often.

Not so busy now. Lots of shops closed for holidays
It was 23c in the corsa this morning.

Sigh!!!

Must’ve been a little anxious about tomorrow judging by the happy smile on my face.

Wine time now.

Cheers🍷🍷
