2025 in Pisticci…day off…

It was good to walk into town and get some shopping. I’m enjoying the new supermarket I found and every time I go I find more items. Also…and no small thing….the lady beside the till who packs my bag makes carrying it home so much more comfortable.

This morning I bought fagioli.

Chopped them up and added them to my 5 day lunch pot.

I’m enjoying gradually adding things to my previously very basic shopping list.

It looks like this might be the last warm week of summer before the temperature drops to around 23C.

This afternoon I thought that I’d better have another try at painting an olive tree with lots of foliage.

Working out how to do it.

I found lots of photos as well as paintings and am more or less using a bit of this and that. It’s been a big learning experience  doing this mural.

Now it’ll be nice to sit down, drink wine and see if there is anything worth watching on Netflix.

Still needing the fan, but my aircon has been put away for a few weeks.

So, I suppose it’ll be more olive leaf painting tomorrow.

I’m looking forward to getting my paintings back from the exhibition in San Mauro Forte. My gallery looks a bit bare still.

12 small canvases arrived yesterday so that if I’m bored I can maybe paint scenes of Pisticci  with lots of little white houses which people seem to like.

Wine time now.

Cheers🍷🍷
