I think that I’ve finally painted an olive tree that I’m happy with.

I’m really pleased with the hills and mountains which I made up and didn’t spend a lot of time painting.

I think that I finally understand the structure of the trunk and I’ve managed to make the foliage look 3 dimensional.

Apart from that I’ve just chilled today. It could be a busy week so been getting  some rest in advance.

I found this painting from 2013 which I probably painted earlier than that , but added the poppies in 2013 as a friend told me that paintings with some red in them sold better. It did eventually sell.

Now it’s Sunday vlog time.

Tomorrow I would like to paint tree trunks and foliage on the mural.
