And preparing for cold weather.

After a stormy evening it was cold, wet and windy this morning.

I was out briefly to collect a parcel from the courier in the piazza. I may have looked a bit odd as I had grabbed a long trench coat, a scarf, turned my tee-shirt back to front to hide the paint marks and was still wearing yellow socks and sandals and camouflage trousers.

I really need to get my clothes sorted.

Mostly today I tidied stuff. It always makes me feel good when things are organised.

I contacted the gas man. So I should have heating if I need it by tomorrow.  Last year it was the end of October before I used my heater.

I found a little self portrait when I was clearing out and decided to fix it .

I need to go shopping tomorrow and I’d like to use up my left over mural paint before it starts to smell.

Am enjoying my tidy house. ( and my ” socks” on the armchairs are working nicely. The floor is not getting scraped  when I move them to get access to the jumper drawer. )
