All day it’s been windy and cold.

I wasn’t expecting it.
It’s now shoe and polo neck weather and I’m so glad that I had gas delivered today.
This year I’m thinking of using both sides of my house. Normally I retreat into the living side where the pellet stove is.
But I have 2 gas heaters so maybe I’ll use the other half of my house, the gallery and workroom when I want to. I’ll see how cold it gets.
I grew up in a house where only the rooms we were in were heated. Then it was the same when I was married and afterwards when I lived by myself.
I still remember the pram in the hall with snow on it which didn’t melt.
Anyways, it’s because I like my gallery and workspace a lot. It’s the coldest part of the house which is partly underground so it might be difficult to heat, especially if I am only heating it when I want to use it. We’ll see.
I find it difficult to go from summer to winter clothes, with no in-between . So I wore a light jacket this morning to go shopping. Unlike my fellow Italians who had thick jackets and hats. I was cold, but luckily got a lift back up the hill with friends.
After some more tidying today I decided to see if I could improve some of my Pisticci paintings. I took a before photo of the first one, but forgot after that……

I haven’t turned the heater on tonight yet, but I’m glad I have the option. Tomorrow it should be a little warmer .
Wine time now.
Cheers 🍷🍷
