Mainly today I’ve painted flowers. I’ve set myself quite a challenge , which is to make the real (fake) flowers stand out from the background which also has flowers on it.

I’m not very good at painting roses. Mostly due to lack of patience.

Then I got annoyed with myself and decided I’d have another go at the roses. 

Eventually after pretty much going back to my original way of painting roses I think they are better.

I still have to do something with the white roses. And I don’t think the red roses stand out enough. I’m painting this from life.

It’s mostly enjoyable and I think it might look pretty good if I persevere.

Tonight, let’s hope the Pizzeria is open.

I’m planning to walk the long way there via the new, big, old supermarket. It’s on the outskirts of town, but not too far from the pizzeria. I should get a lift home……

There are some little things I’m missing.

Now I’m wondering whether to get mildly dressed up again. There’s  been a cold wind blowing all day.

Might have a small glass of wine to help me decide.
