My day started out well when the bin men took away my 2 big bags of ‘indifferent’ rubbish. I had done a bit of a clear out last week and so had a big black bin bag full of winter stuff, empty paint containers and various other bits and pieces. 

Then, quite by accident I’ve bought a bin bag which matches my ” painter of Pisticci ” bin. It looks very tidy and smart now.

After that I went to start painting, but first I turned on my  laptop so that I could  listen to a Mrs Pollifax audiobook and discovered that there is also a film. I doubt that it will be as good as the books, but I think that I’ll save it for Saturday night.

Then my daughter phoned. ( I’m part of her routine she says.) How lovely.

Finally I started painting  and it all went reasonably well.

Tomorrow  is Scanzano market so I’m hoping to find some interesting secondhand scarves and continue this series. I might buy some more flowers too.

I had leftover pizza for breakfast. Had forgotten about that. Was nice .

Now it’s wine time. It’s been a good day.
