I’ve been sitting here wondering what I could possibly write.

It’s been a nice day.

I watched ” Have I got news for you” as a treat while having my breakfast. And also a vlog from a Dutch artist.

I went up town after 9am and came back a different way. It was sunny  and I was wearing my new cord coat which I like very much. I like to think that I looked pretty cool….including sunglasses.

Back home I laid away the shopping which included wine and chocolate.

Then watched two episodes of Portrait Artist of the Year. 

After that I painted a yellowy orange wash over all the new drawings if Pisticci.

About then a friend phoned.  That was nice.

There was just time to draw the first Pisticci scene with an acrylic pen before lunch.

This afternoon I’ve mostly painted. 

I’ve changed a lot since I would only paint scenes like this accurately. Putting in every window and door. And making sure I had every house in the right place.

Now it’s wine time.  I’m wondering if I should do some travelling again. But in the meantime this nice quiet life is very pleasant.
