If you had asked me 6 weeks ago if I could paint 12 small paintings of Pisticci including hundreds of little houses and enjoy it I would have laughed and said that after painting possibly thousands of little white houses there was no way I would chose to paint any more.

However I’ve just finished the 12th one today and they are all displayed on my gallery bed which is now a display space.

I’m really pleased with myself .

They are colourful and fun. Not great art, but will probably make some people happy. And I know that despite the ” naive” look to them that there is a lot of skill and knowledge gained over 20 years gone into them.

I’d like to think that my enjoyment and love for Pisticci shows.

Now it’s wine time and I’ve posted all 12 paintings on Facebook so feeling like ” job well done”. Tomorrow I’m considering using some of the remaining chalk paint to upgrade my dresser. That would be fun. I need a few days off before I begin the next project.
