2025 in Pisticci…a different kind of painting….

It was good to go out this morning having finished my project.

It’s definitely been good for me to have to change supermarkets. I meet lots more people because I have to walk along the the corsa. I stopped on the way back and had a coffee in the bar with the best view in Pisticci.

It feels like being part of the community again.

This house with the green tiles was in at least 2 of my recent paintings. It was very useful to add some colour.
My street looks pretty even on a dull day. My neighbours flowers are looking much better than mine.

Once home I got out the green chalk paint and decided to get to work . (It was sort of burning a hole in the paint and tools cupboard.)

Around the same time another parcel arrived with some interesting  clothes etc.

Fake sheepskin jacket. Looks better with other trousers. It’s really comfortable….probably because I ordered 4xxl size.

I also got a hat which is surprisingly flattering  and some storage things which I’ve used for socks etc. At 15 euros in total it seemed like a good buy.

That olive picking painting was still bothering me so I added some orange at the bottom.

It’s complete guess work! But I think that helps.

I found a Nordic noir  channel on youtube so I’m hoping for something interesting to watch tonight. I’m so happy to be able to read the subtitles  from quite a distance. Couldn’t do that before.
