2025 in Pisticci….marketing and modelling…

It was Scanzano market again today. I bought another scarf. A lovely big tartan one from the secondhand stall….which is now about four times as big as it used to be.

Was busier than usual today.

So this afternoon I’ve been modelling for my next self portrait. I’m a rubbish model, but I’m available.

This time I pixelupped the photo as it was a little dark which meant the details weren’t so clear. Pixelupping doesn’t make me look nicer, just makes all the details clearer. I often use it for commissioned portraits as they are sometimes not very clear.

The pixelupped version. It’s possible to zoom in and see the detail.
When I zoom in on this it is blurred.

That was the best out of 6 photos.

I’ve decided to do some small versions of my flower and scarf paintings. I was thinking about painting  more Pisticci  scenes , but until my square canvases arrive I’ve only got some rather narrow ones.

It’s been stormy this afternoon.

There is a big drain with a tree growing in it at the end of the street, but the water goes down it anyways.
My bin is now further down the street.

It’s nice and cosy inside.  I haven’t tried my pellet stove yet, but the gas heater at minimum is fine.

It’s raining heavily again.

However, electricity and WIFI permitting it’s  Sunday vlog night. Hurray!

Cheers🍷🍷
