I was going to go out today, but I wanted to get on with painting the small flower and scarf paintings so time passed and I was still at home.

Now I don’t miss the big ones.

This is the time of year when I start to think that I should make sure that I have enough ” things” to last me over Christmas and New year. So I’ve ordered another 10 60x80cm canvases, 6 more round canvases, 500mls of black gesso, 2 boxes of black and white acrylic markers, and 50 candles.  Felt better after that…….though I haven’t checked my paint supplies yet……

Around 4pm I looked out the window and saw a beautiful pink sky.

Tomorrow I think I’ll start another big scarf and flower painting. I’m still waiting for the scarf I ordered online and then I can do another scarf portrait. The canvases I ordered to paint more Pisticci  scenes on don’t arrive until Tuesday.

I’ve now watched a whole series  of Australian Portrait Artist of the Year and it was won by a 77 Year old lady. That was so encouraging. What might I be painting if I had another 7 years?  Exciting.

Just lit some candles now that I have another 50 arriving soon.

Wine time now. And maybe  more nordic noir. Watched one based on a book I’d read last night. It was good.
