2025 in Pisticci….a sociable day….

It was nice to go out this morning in the sunshine.

Just round the corner. The little shrine is pretty.
The hills were very clear .
And the sun was shining on the sea.
Mist was lying between the hills.
I can see my house from here even though it is the farthest away
Christmas decorations are going up in corso margherita. 
The piazza was nearly empty.
I love this view.
One of the prettiest corners in Pisticci.

On my way home I met an old friend and now I have a little adventure organised for next Wednesday.

I was attempting to make coffee for another friend when I discovered I had no gas. ( I thought that it was my cooker being obnoxious….but it looks like the gas had run out. )

So I had toasted cheese and chocolate for lunch and thanks to chatgpt I’ll bake sweet potatoes in the microwave tonight. I can also cook mixed vegetables in it as well. However the gas man is coming tomorrow evening.

I’ve been working on the next scarf and flowers painting. I’m not sure if it will work….but we’ll see.

I sketched a big and small one. Tartan is not easy to paint.
This is the small one which needs more work.

I was a bit fed up painting tartan so it could be better. It was hard to distinguish shadows and not get lost in the pattern.

It’s been a nice day. Watched Victoria  Coleman’s vlog this morning.

I think I’ve watched enough nordic noir for the time being. I found ” Spooks” . That should do instead.
