2025 in Pisticci…tartan and daisies…

Other than waiting for parcels to arrive I mostly painted tartan and daisies.

Feeling  arty….

First the parcels…..One parcel arrived via the Italian postal service. The other 3 are somewhere in Matera, and have been there for up to a week.

I now have a pair of chunky running shoes so that I can bounce like Tigger. I miss feeling bouncy. I’m hoping these will help.

I think they look reasonably good.

I finished the small version of tartan and daisies.

I’m really pleased with the daisies.

For a break I painted a border on my door.

Before
Now.
I might do another line, but I ran out of masking tape. It’s very satisfying taking it off.

This afternoon I mainly painted the big version of tartan and daisies. I tried tomake a reasonable job of the tartan.

The colour isn’t very good in this photo but I think I’m about 80% finished.

The kindly gas man arrived just before 5pm so I have gas to cook with, though I was quite pleased with the results when cooking frozen vegetables in the microwave for lunch .

I’ve been watching a lot of interviews with artists today and thinking how fortunate I am to be able to get excited about painting.

10 new small canvases arrived today. So I can start more small paintings of Pisticci.Β

Wine time now.

Cheers 🍷🍷
