I suppose you could say that it started about 3am when I noticed that my phone had not been charging and was at 16%. It’s  been a bit iffy now for a while. Everything takes longer and after about 5 years I was thinking that I should be looking for a new one. I was going to wait till I went back to Scotland as I was worried about changing the sim card. Last time it needed cut up!

However this morning I spent some time searching for  a Samsung phone with the best camera which I wanted to afford. I’m not bothered about lots of complicated stuff. I just want to take good photos,  go on social media, write my blog and have WhatsApp.

Eventually with a mix of luck, hope and various reviews I found an affordable one with a nano sim same as is in my current phone.  Then I tried to buy it using a credit card. Which I had to approve in my  bank app . After four separate tries and fails I found Euronics online which I could pay with PayPal. By then it was lunch time.

This afternoon I spent getting more and more disappointed with my latest painting. Eventually I turned the  scarf round and changed the background  colour  to pink. It might be better.

At the back of all this is the reason I’ve been waking up at 3am and generally  feeling anxious. I think I’ve got some useful info now thanks to CHATGPT.  And a plan.

I found a series on Netflix which is okay so far. I think it’s called ” The beast in me” which despite its name seems less violent than a lot of the other options.

I’m glad it’s wine time now and Sunday vlogs.
