2025 in Pisticci…playing at houses…..

Or moving furniture around.

I’ve been thinking that it would be nice to have a little more work space near the cooker. There used to be a table , but now there’s only a cutting board.

After much thought and searching online I decided that I should have a good look around my house and see if I could use anything.

So I measured a little white cocktail cabinet which I was using as a table for my still life flowers etc.

It was a little short but I remembered that I had 4 bricks … .

It fitted …..using the bricks. They look like platform soles on its tiny curvy legs. Really!

However I thought that it would look better black.

Forgot to say I also painted a second line on the door.
I think it’ll fit in once there are some things on it. It’s exactly the same height as the cooker. Serendipity and bricks….

Meanwhile I had a space to fill in my workroom so my folding painting table is now covered with 2 lace curtains and has 2 boxes of big canvases underneath.  Perfect.

And I’ve ordered another painting table.

There is something therapeutic about getting my house in order. There were only a few files of reference photos in the cocktail cabinet and I’ve thrown a lot of them away. There was plenty of room for the rest in the bookcase.

Before.
Now.

It’s pizza night again. This week seems to have sped by.

I’m looking forward to a walk through town after my busy day.

Oh, and I bought a little green cast iron teapot which will look just lovely on my new black kitchen cocktail cabinet.

Cheers 🍷🍷🍕
