2025 in Pisticci…at home.

I’ll start with some more photos of last night as it was good fun and very entertaining watching the pettole being made.

Pettole are a bit like doughnuts
Notice the sticks used for lifting them out.
This was funny and very loud.
Big basins of pettole dough. I saw at least 3 arriving.
There were lots of people.

At one point the electricity went off for a couple of minutes and everything including Santa Claus deflated.. It was very funny.

However within a few minutes everything was back full of air.

I sold another 2 paintings which means I’ve sold 6 out of the 12 paintings I did with lots of little white houses. It was obviously a good plan.

Today I’ve mostly been at home except to go out and meet the courier in the Piazza.

Lovely morning.

Then I spent quite a lot of today tidying out my art supplies thanks to the new shelf which the courier brought.

Before
After.

That was very satisfying.

And I enjoyed looking at some old paintings and sketches I’d forgotten about.

Drew this in 2013 from a group of single photos.

Have just spent a couple of hours with a friend and now I’m going to see if I can find something to watch on youtube.

And have another glass of wine.

Cheers🍷🍷
