Travelling virtually, that is. There are so many countries in the world that I’ll never visit so this is the next best thing.

I rarely binge watch anything, but as I didn’t realise some of these videos were in 4 parts I almost missed lunch.

I’ve been watching a couple called ” Matt and Julia”. He’s English and she’s  from Siberia. Today I went with them to Chechnya, Afghanistan and North Korea. It’s  quite moving and disturbing ” meeting ” real people in all these countries. Most of them are friendly and welcoming despite everything. But I found the Afghanistan videos harrowing because women had to be invisible.

However if anyone is even vaguely interested it’s heartwarming.

After all that travelling I only spent half an hour painting. Though I also prepared another 2 canvases.

I was  briefly outside again today.

I thought my flowers were looking good…..though not nearly as well kept as my neighbours’.

I’m not going out tonight. It’s nice to be inside.
