Thank you for my eyesight and after 65 years wearing glasses I have so very much enjoyed being a person who doesn’t wear glasses this year.

Thank you to my family for letting me stay for 4 months,  taking me to the clinic and being patient when I got a bit stressed. It was great to be part of Katy’s body building adventure too.

Thank you for being able to renew old friendships in Scotland that I plan to not let go of again.

Thank you for being my 70th year. I never expected it.

Thank you for my 20th year in Italy. It’s been amazing.

Thank you for all the lovely people in Pisticci who make my life happy.

Thank you for the invitations to have exhibitions in Oliveto Lucano and San Mauro Forte.

Thank you for my new corduroy coat which makes me feel so cool and arty.

Thank you for reminding me how much fun it is to sell paintings in the piazza.

And in my house/ gallery.  ( I painted 32 paintings of Pisticci for Christmas  and as of tonight have sold 18)

Thank you for me discovering that I loved to paint big paintings and have had such a lot of fun.

And that’s only the top of the list………….

I could go on, but I want to put my feet up, drink wine, watch Midsomer Murders and feel content…..and warm.
