I had been watching a video on youtube about planning for the year ahead.

Having decided that my plan was,” to explore and see what happens,” the only part of the video which caught my interest was , “to be prepared.”

I enjoyed painting small scenes of Pisticci and I’d like have a selection available when people drop in. ( I need a new angle to keep me interested, but that will come.)

So I will be able to start any time. I had no canvases left in the smaller sizes. 

I’ve been looking for the moon tonight, but it must be too cloudy.

After falling asleep for about an hour after lunch…very unusual for me….I finally started to draw my next ” artist” painting.

I was just thinking how important it is to do a very rough sketch with the neocolours. It kind of liberates my brain. It took about an hour to draw this . I didn’t use squares this time, but I printed a photo so that I can easier measure proportions on the face. Trying to do that on a tablet screen is tricky as the image moves.

It’s been cold and windy today.

Only did a little travelling with Matt and Julia today, to an abandoned town somewhere in the north of Russia where polar bears walk through.

Now it’s wine time. Maybe there will be another Nordic Noir video uploaded…..
