2026 in Pisticci…still portrait painting.

I’m really enjoying my little wooden bed table. Have taken to writing for a while before I get up in the morning. It’s so comfortable.  ( And it’s warm in bed.)

This morning I went up town for some shopping and a bit exercise. It was a beautiful  morning.

Snow on the mountains
Beautiful  view across the valley. I think someone once told me that Hannibal marched his army through this valley. I may have imagined that!.
I never understand how I can see so much of the sea.
This was impressive.
7C.

On the way home I stopped for an Espressino.

So pretty.

Most of the rest of today I’ve been working on both portraits. Fixed a few things on one and am probably about 75% done on the other one.

Painted this a very long time ago. ( sometimes I need to look at old portraits to encourage myself.)

Pizza night again. I like the walk through town to get there. Wondering if I should stop in the butchers’ and buy more wine. ( in case of emergencies…..)

Anyways, better go and decide what to wear. I expect it’ll be cold.

Have put my indifferenzia bin out in the middle of the street in the hope that the bin men will empty it this week. They ignored it last week. Just like they ignored the vetro one today. Fingers crossed.

Cheers🍷🍷🍕
