But nearly done.

Am now more than 80% finished both portraits.

I’m much less critical  of the self portraits I’ve done recently than these two.

Hopefully I will think that they are as good as  I can manage by Friday . I’ve got an idea for my next self portrait and might begin at the weekend.

This time I want a special scarf I was given to be a big part of the painting.

I managed to print a copy of the original photo for the portrait ( which I haven’t found yet.) on my printer on photographic paper. That was very satisfying.

I haven’t been outside today. 

I thought about putting my new gas heater together until I saw all the screws etc. Better to do it in the morning when my brain works better.

It’s been an interesting week. One of those uncomfortable  learning experiences. 

I experimented with the local online shopping today. I wonder if I could buy pellets for the stove as well as food and have them delivered. They sell pellets in the supermarket. 

I found these 2 paintings last night.

Tomorrow I think I’ll do house things , like setting up the heater and emptying a cupboard so that I can put away all the supplies I ordered at 3am earlier this week.

Now I might watch an Inspector Alleyn video.
