2026 in Pisticci….a good neighbour….

This morning I had to go to the other side of Pisticci  to collect a parcel. It was a beautiful morning.

Lovely sky
I can see my house in the distance.
These buildings are looking good. Someone must be restoring them.
Am surprised to see all these flowers in January.
Some nice trees near the bus station.

I timed my walk so that I had time for a coffee at Bar Seventeen where I collected the parcel and was in time for the Urbano bus which saved me walking all the way back home. That felt very organised. (I love going on the little bus. )

Back home I saw that my neighbour  who’s a mechanic was in his workshop so I took the hose from the new heater round and asked if he could attach it for me. Of course he could! And he didn’t stop there, but screwed the whole thing together. We agreed after it took him about 25 minutes to finish that it would likely have taken me about 2 days to do the same thing. Thank you Salvatore.

New heater…..

Fluffy came to visit for a while.

She fell asleep on my knee.
Then sat hopefully beside the cat food box.
She thinks this is her bed so had another sleep there.

It’s nice having a visiting cat. She’ll no doubt be visiting one of her other people now.

I think I’ve finished both portraits. There wasn’t much left to do.  I just need to sign them now.

So I can have fun playing houses at the weekend. ( I think it might rain.)

And now it’s Friday wine time. Hurray!

Cheers 🍹🍷🍷
