I could hear the wind blowing before I got up this morning. It was really strong for most of the morning. I had to find some big stones to put on my bins to stop them being blown over. And I had to get the floor brush out.

Today my plan was to do the charcoal portrait I’ve been putting off. It took me quite some time and a lot of to-ing and fro-ing until I finally began. I found an amazing amount of things I just had to do. Including ordering a fancy pen eraser.

However I’m more or less finished. It just needs some highlights which I’ll do on Friday.

Fluffy has been inside most of today.

I was given a very pretty flowery teapot today and the electric kettle I ordered arrived.

Now I just need biscuits and sugar and I am all ready to be sociable.

Tomorrow after some shopping I might do some more charcoal drawing for fun. I wonder what Pisticci would look like in charcoal..

Ive been trying not to sleep at all during the day….it makes for a very long day and I keep running out of things to do.

However now it’s  wine time and not so windy.
