Work started at 7.30am and now moost of the cracks and splits in my beams and walls are filled and the large piece of plaster which was only just hanging on has been knocked down and replastered.

Tomorrow my door is going to be fixed.

Mostly jobs I couldn’t do myself due to the height.  ( and lack of necessary skill.)

I have however ordered an extending pole so that I can paint the outside of the house myself…..and maybe remove the cobwebs inside.

I got this lovely photo from Teresa last night.

The carnnevsle is possibly  happening in town just now. Usually I can hear the excessively loud music here , but it’s very windy and I can only hear the wind.

I drew another charcoal sketch, but am not very impressed.

I need to go to the bank and collect a parcel on the way to the Pizzeria tonight. It seems very cold outside……..

However a nice walk will warm me up.

Tomorrow my door is going away to have a bit sawed off it.  Not before time. Now I’ll be able to leave home without alerting the whole street.

It could be a bit chilly inside for a while.

Now I’d better get organised to go out . If I could hear some music I’d be tempted to go and see what’s happening……..
