2026 in Pisticci…more charcoal drawing.

After a nice walk uptown  this morning which included taking taking photos to use as reference, I’ve spent most of the day drawing and enjoying the sunshine shining in my windows.

Lovely sky
Looking for a new view…
Changed this to more black and white to see if it would work with charcoal.
And this….
Beautiful day.

On the way home I went for an Espressino in the Genesi bar.

Today’s masterpiece. Pistachio and chocolate decorations.

Ive been using the charcoal drawing I did of my doorway as an experiment as I don’t really like it. Now it’s virtually a pastel drawing. Been interesting.

I like the containers and flowers but not sure about the rest. I got rid of a lot of the vine. Next I think I’ll get rid of the reflections in the window. Or maybe I’ll just clean it all off and use it for something else. ( I’d forgotten how lovely  pastels are .)

I was a little bothered that all the latest drawings have been copies of my drawings so I thought I’d better check that I could still draw from photos.

More or less accurate.
Maybe I could have made the dark parts darker…..but it’s a bit scary . I think I will though.
It looks darker here.

My heated jacket was a great bonus today. I forgot that I had turned it on and wondered why I was so warm.

I can’t believe  it’s Thursday already. It feels like it’s been a very quick week.

Last night I found an episode of Midsomer Murders I hadn’t  seen before. What a treat.

Cheers🍷🍷
