I was thinking on the way home today that it doesn’t really take very much to make me happy.

I went to the jewellers first, because I found my suffragette ring which had a stone missing. And although I didn’t understand some of the conversation I was able to say that the ring might have belonged to a feminist from the last century. ( I looked that up before I left.) So hopefully I can get the stone replaced.

Then I went to a farmacia and asked for soap that would not dry out my hands as they are starting to get dry and cracked.

After a  quick visit to the supermarket , followed  by a coffee, although I merely walked home I was dancing like a leprechaun inside.

This afternoon I started another charcoal drawing . It had the most amazing clouds…..I’ve no idea why I thought I could possibly draw it.

However I had a visit from three lovely ladies who have seen my charcoal drawings online and particularly  liked the ones with some colour in them. That was very encouraging  to know . So I decided to add some colour………..

My gold leaf set arrived in the post today. Exciting.

Nearly forgot! My ID  card is ready to collect on Monday. Hurray!
