2026 in Pisticci…..a nice walk in the sunshine…..

What a difference the sun makes.

This was Pisticci today…

Snow on the mountains
This hillside is normally bare. Must have been all the rain.
Wildflowers are coming…….
Calanche are fascinating.
Much more three dimensional in reality.

I walked up the pink brick road and wasn’t breathless at the top!

In Terrevecchia.

These aren’t painted . They are ceramic

One of the oldest buildings in Pisticci.
Look carefully……2  cats enjoying the sun
Wonder why the quilt is hanging there.

It’s easy to get lost in Terrevecchia, but I just keep walking and eventually find the way out.

Think the well was probably left over from the living Nativity.
Very narrow street. ( but not the narrowest.)

Got started on my gardening project later and completed another charcoal sketch from this morning’s walk.
