My plan to buy heavy and bulky items online instead of carrying them up and down the hills of Pisticci is not working very well.
Thanks to the machine heading for the centre of the earth the road into Dirupo is closed every day. ( It’s open in the evening and at weekends.)
Delivery vans just don’t attempt any other routes….not that I blame them. The Italian postal service arrive at my door , but, then they are using a car…and they live here.
So last night on the way to the Lanterna a girl stopped me in the street and said she had a package for me. I thought maybe she worked for the post office.
However this morning there was a knock at the door and there she was. We then got in her car, went to her house where she gave me the parcel and I walked home carrying it. ( It just occurred to me that she could have just brought the parcel in her car.) Apparently the courier gave her the parcel to give to me yesterday.
Then later on I got a phone call to meet another courier in the piazza. So walked back carrying second heavy parcel.
Hmmmmm!!!!!!
It’s been a lovely sunny day again.
I’ve finished my last charcoal drawing. I think Pisticci looks better in colour.

I’ve broken off some bits of lavender and pelargoniums. Hopefully a few will take root.

Now I’m expecting visitors.
Cheers🍷🍷
