I began the day by doing some research on Google maps to see just where I would be staying in Verona. It looks good.
Then I read an interesting article related to a book by Maxwell Maltz. I might look for the book. It makes sense of why I’ve changed because I came to Italy.
After that, it being Saturday, I had to buy carrots at the fruit and veg stall, go to the little supermarket and have a coffee in town.

Most of the rest of today has been about shoes and clothes.
Normally when I go away , it’s to Scotland where I have clothes in Katy’s house.
But if I’m going away for a month then that makes a difference.
I bought a skirt online which I had been looking at for months ,but thought it was maybe a bit too different from what I normally wear.

I spent ages trying on all my shoes to see if any of them would look good with it. When I finally accepted that my feet would never look small , I found a green pair which look okay.
Later on I checked to see if there were any Chinese shops in Verona. There are at least two. There is also a Primark. Oh, and what seems like an interesting art gallery quite near where I should be staying.
It was fun planning.
I also watched a video by someone I follow who spends a month in Naples every year to “reboot.” I quite like that idea.
It’s been another lovely sunny day.
Wine time now.
Cheers🍷🍷
