I woke up this morning wondering what was the point of me……
Then I opened the window and I didn’t really care about that any more, because it was so pretty outside.

Then I went up town and had a coffee in a different place and stood beside a lovely little old lady who seemed full of life and energy. She cheered up the whole bar. I bet she wasn’t wondering , what was the point of her.
So much encouraged I pottered along corsa margherita and bought some socks from the lovely Chinese girl, who probably wasn’t thinking ,what was the point of her either.

Back home and I could hear the noise of the drilling from the end of the street.
But although inside it was irritating it didn’t feel as if my ceiling was in danger of falling down.
I decided to move a painting table through into my other room and see how I got on.
My noise cancelling earphones worked really well and I made good progress on the portrait commission.

Work upstairs stopped at lunch time and that was it for the day.
I’m now about 75% finished with the portrait.
It’s warmer in this part of my house which is nice.
It was hair dyeing day which is also very uplifting. ( except that I’m still wearing a hat inside so have a rather flat hairstyle.)
Wine time now, and the weekend. Already bought maltesers.
Cheers🍷🍷
