I’ve just watched a video about an artist called John Walker. I’d never heard of him and I nearly didn’t watch when I saw that he was an abstract painter. However he seemed like a really nice guy and not at all pretentious.
It was very educational. I don’t understand abstract art. It just looks like a mess to me….in general. Not that I’ve ever painted an abstract . But I liked him and when he said near the end , ” find out what you are good at and do it”, I immediately wrote that in my notebook full of important things.
So tomorrow I’m planning to leave the portrait, ( nearly finished) and maybe paint another still life just to see what happens. I feel like I need to paint at least five.

I think it was a good idea not to paint vegetables. I considered calling the potential painting “10 euros worth of vegetables.”
Instead I watched an ” informed ” person explain a lot about the situation in the world right now and decided that I already knew a reasonable amount of the same information. ( I checked the guy’s biography…can’t be too careful. )
I would have spent more time in town this morning, but I thought it was going to rain so I just bought vegetables and coffee art.

I was awake a lot last night.
Now wine and Midsomer Murders would be lovely.
Cheers🍷🍷
