I don’t know what is causing me to be awake so much in the night. One night would have been okay, but last night was the 5th night in a row.

( Just occurred to me that I’m painting the view from my bed….hope that’s  not what is keeping me awake.)

Also I’ve hurt my toe.

Apart from that I think I’ve finished the latest portrait and I’m pleased with it. It was a good photo which helped.

I should be collecting “James ” from San Mauro Forte this week. The other two bigger paintings are still in an exhibition.

The third painting on my journey of painting things to see what happens is progressing……

It is a curious feeling painting something that feels like exploring…….

My next piece of work arrived.

I meant to go out today, but was too tired.

Worked out that if all goes to plan in 4 weeks I’ll be away from Pisticci until nearly the end of June apart from two weeks between trips.

Am glad it’s wine time now.
