What a lovely day…..

Sleep was good.

Found, by accident, two different inspiring art videos on YouTube. One reminded me that at some point the painting takes the lead……..

It was a beautiful  morning.

I forget sometimes that I can afford to buy something special.

Having been inspired I got to work on the ” view from my bed”. I hardly looked at the photo as it was time to let the painting lead. It’s like I sort of know what needs done to make the painting work. ( Which is a nice feeling.) It’s  not finished yet, but it might be okay after all…. yesterday I wasn’t so sure.

Then I looked at my last two still lives and decided that I’d been a bit negative about them, and so whatever anyone else might think I know what I was trying to say when I painted them.

So the top one could be called ” I can’t get enough of colour….”

And the bottom one ” This  scene makes my heart sing…”

I didn’t stop painting until after 5pm as I was enjoying myself so much.

Staying home tonight.
