2026 in Pisticci…getting excited about watercolours…..

It more or less rained all day again. It was so dark and miserable that I lit the pellet stove this morning   and kept it on most of today.

First time in ages that the temperature inside has been above 20C.  I thought my house needed a little boost…..and maybe me too…

Today is the first day I’ve had shoes on  after being kind to my toe and wearing sandals for the last few days.

This morning I made up an art ” goody bag” for a friend. I enjoyed myself chosing things I thought she might have fun with.

Then I got excited about watercolours when I watched a video on sketching in cities.( I thought I should learn some new skills for sketching in Verona.)

I have pretty much everything I need.

After that it was time to carry on with the latest still life.

Still a work in progress, but I think I should finish tomorrow. 

Fluffy popped in.

She is so fat. ( pregnant)

I found another photo from 7 years ago when I moved back into this house.

Upstairs. I was going to write at that desk and look out the fake window. But I never did.
Now it looks like this.

Pizza tonight and parcel collection far away at the other side of Pisticci. My toe is glad I’m getting a lift. ( and it’s  still raining….)
