This morning I woke up with a sore back. Luckily I have a back support thing which has helped a bit.

Today I was going to finish the latest still life. I think I have.

I painted over some of the gold pattern at the front and made some changes to the roses and leaves. And finally I changed the colours of the bowl.

After that I thought that I’d watch videos on urban sketching, but I couldn’t  concentrate.

So I tried again to fix my sandals. This time I used stick on pads specially for making shoes smaller. It was a bit tricky as they are sandals, but I think it might have worked.

It’s been dull and damp all day.

Tomorrow  I think I should experiment with pens and watercolours so that I take the best things with me to Verona.

I found another photo of my house from 7 years ago.

I’m really enjoying the Number 1 ladies detective agency. I watched it years ago, but it’s  just as good as second time.
