What a treat it is to move relatively  easily. The last two days have been filled with a lot of ” ouch and oops” while moving very slowly and holding onto things.

Luckily sitting down was okay, but getting up again not so much. I just stood up just now to see how nice it was. Better!

I had a plan to do some washing today….but the sunny morning forecast never happened. 

So I spent most of today either watching videos about watercolour painting and equipment or experimenting with my current supplies.

I love learning new things.

I tried out one of my free water pens and didn’t much like it.

Then when I tried the waterbrush there was too much water and the surface of the paper started to come off. However it was surprising how much I could  draw in such a small space.

Everything went better using a normal brush.

Tomorrow  will likely be more of the same. I think the next ” washing” day is on Wednesday.

I bought some lovely handmade paper after watching someone on youtube do a comparison between sketchpads.

And I tested my writing book  with my new pen. Seems good.

Am even thinking that I might do some plein air painting …..but not tomorrow. 

Now it’s time for wine. ( and a quick dancey stroll around the house to celebrate  the return of movement. )
